Helping out on a PTA committee is a fun and rewarding experience. Meet new friends, learn new skills, and most of all, know that your efforts are directly benefiting the school and your child’s educational experience.

Jog-A-Thon

Our main fundraiser for the year, where students have a blast fundraising for their school. This year is scheduled for October 2024.

Overnight study/science trips are planned for 4th, 5th, and 6th grades.

A Buck A Book

Our annual book sale where parents and students donate gently used books for resale during conference week.

Drive Thru BBQ

This is definitely a school favorite. Help fundraise for the PTA while enjoying a wonderful dinner. We hold this fundraiser twice a year (Fall & Spring).

Hospitality

We have Teacher & Staff appreciation week in May, but we also do something special a few months in the year. You can volunteer for just one event.

Bobcat Boogie

A fun-filled dance party for the whole family, usually held in May. No fundraising involved, this is a community event only.

Safe Routes to School OPEN for 2024-2025

We hold “Walk to School Day” in the Fall, and “Bike to School Day” in the Spring. These events encourage children to safely walk, bike or roll to school.

Nominating Committee

Its main focus is to identify potential candidates for the elected positions on a PTA board for the upcoming term. The committee members will contacts potential candidates and provide information on duties, expectations and skill sets of a board position

STEAM Night

Last year we organized Math Night, this year we want to include a bit more. Help us plan a fun event for all families to enjoy!

Classroom Reps

Work with teacher(s) and parents/guardians, as a parent contact and liaison, to build stronger family-school partnerships for a classroom. Helps organize classroom parties.

Financial Review Committee

Reviews the books and financial records of the association semiannually or as additionally specified in the bylaws. Prepares and presents written reports for adoption by the association.

Merchandise

Coordinates the design, ordering, and sale of spiritwear and other merchandise. The committee also staffs the booth at various events, including back to school night, the carnival, open house, and more. .

Carnival OPEN

Open to the entire SLO community who enjoy inflatables, games and music. This year the Carnival will be only a family event, not a fundraising!
