Walk/Roll to School Day

Dear Bobcat Families,
We’re excited to invite you to celebrate Walk & Roll to School Day with our Bobcat Walking School Bus! It’s a fun and active way to start the day as a community, and we’d love for you and your children to join in.

What is the Bobcat Walking School Bus?
It’s not a real bus—it’s a group of kids and parents walking to school together! Our Walking School Bus will "pick up" students along the route, so please wait with your child at your route starting at 8:00 AM. Our Walking Bus Drivers will have reflective vests & banners.

Once we arrive at school, there will be snacks, and little giveaways at the tables outside of the MPR.

Bus leaves at 8:00am

East Route

WSB will meet at Throop Park, corner of Cerro Romaldo Ave. & Cuesta Dr., please wait with your child along the route to join the Walking School Bus.

North Route
WSB will meet at the corner of Patricia Dr. & Clover Dr., please wait with your child along the route to join the Walking School Bus.

Watch This Video: "Safe Travels - 4 Ways, Always"
As part of the event, we’re sharing a fun and educational video. In this video, Morgan teaches her younger brother the 10 Walking Rules to help him become a safe pedestrian. It’s perfect for kids to watch and learn about pedestrian safety in a fun way!

Why Walk?
Walking is one of the simplest ways to get regular exercise and promotes responsibility and community awareness in kids. By learning street safety early, children will become confident and capable of navigating to school on their own in the future. Knowing the 10 Walking Rules will give them the tools they need to stay safe on the streets.
We hope to see you on Walk & Roll to School Day!
